Doctor Parsons earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1977. After completing his studies, Doctor Parsons served as a dental officer in the Royal Australian Navy, using his exceptional knowledge of modern dental practices to maintain beautiful smiles offshore and overseas.
In 1985, Doctor Parsons returned to Australia and opened a private dental practice in Nelson Bay. He built a renowned practice that his patients could count on for emergencies as well as general treatment and maintenance.
Doctor Parsons has over four decades experience in all facets of dental care. His knowledge has been enhanced through regular attendance of education courses and conventions. Now, he is able to advise on the dental needs of all age groups and provide or arrange all treatments required by his patients.
Doctor Parsons has a keen interest in children’s dentistry and early intervention for the dental problems of adolescents. His goal is to minimise the need for orthodontic treatment in the future including braces.
He has also been providing implant-supported restorations for over fifteen years and has wide experience with crowns, bridges, and full or partial dentures.
Doctor Parsons is known for his friendly, trustworthy nature. You will often find him talking about his tragic love of rugby – he is one of few who won a premiership with the Nelson Bay Gropers. Doctor Parsons also loves travelling to lesser known locations, sailing, railways, military history and of course, his family – two grown daughters and his wife, Gail.
Aside from his good-hearted nature and comforting chairside manner, Doctor Parsons is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable dentists in the area, providing exceptional care to his patients for more than forty years.
